Dear Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to share with you the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection, which took place on 15th and 16th October 2024. We are extremely proud to report that the school received a result of good in all areas, which reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our children, staff, the Spring Partnership team and the entire school community.

The Ofsted inspection team praised many aspects of our school, including the ambitious Spring Trust curriculum and high expectations that we have, the positive relationships fostered between students and staff, and the strong sense of community that we have worked hard to build here at Elmstead Wood. The report recognises that we are a warm friendly school where children feel happy and safe and that we have a vibrant learning environment with high-quality programme of learning. It was highlighted that children feel valued, and well-supported here at our wonderful school.

This positive outcome is a testament to the collective efforts of everyone involved in our school – from our executive team at Spring Trust and our talented and passionate teaching staff to our supportive parents and the wonderful children who make this school a special place to learn and grow. We have always strived for excellence, and this report affirms the progress we’ve made.

While we are incredibly proud of our achievements, we remain committed to continuous improvement and ensuring that every student receives the best possible education. We will continue to work hard to build on our strengths and address any areas for further development as we strive for even greater success.
